It’s the start FilmCrew’s 26/27 season and we’re off to a flying start with this blockbuster – ‘Project Hail Mary’ (12A).
From the author of ‘The Martian’ (Andy Weir) and starring Ryan Gosling, it tells the story of a science teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship. As his memory returns, he uncovers a mission to stop a mysterious substance killing Earth’s sun, and realizes that an unexpected friendship may be the key.
Given the length of the film (2 hours 30 mins), we’ll be starting slightly earlier.

Doors open at 18:30, and then the film will be introduced at 19:00.
We’ll have a short 5 minute comfort break midway through, with the film finishing around 21:40.
Entry for non-members is £6 payable on the door but why not take the opportunity to become a member for this season and see all 9 films for £30.
