Film screening: The Salt Path (12A)

Starts
7:30 pm 26 September 2025
Ends
9:30 pm 26 September 2025

Our first screening of the 2025/26 season is ‘The Salt Path’ (12A).

A moving British drama inspired by Raynor Winn’s bestselling memoir. It follows the incredible story of Raynor and her husband Moth, a middle-aged couple who, after losing their home and learning of Moth’s terminal diagnosis, set out on a life-changing 630-mile trek along England’s South West Coast Path. Starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaac.

The story on which the film is based, has gained controversary since its release, due to allegations made regarding the couple and its veracity. Come along and form your own view – does the story sound far fetched? Does it highlight the problem with stories “based on a true story”. Either way, the film is a beautiful story of love of each other and love of the South West coastal path.

Doors open at 19:00, and then the film will be introduced at 19:30 and will finish by c21:30

Entry for non-members is £6 payable on the door but why not take the opportunity to become a member for this season and see all 9 films for £30.
